Bullying, Being Different

It's really hard to understand bullying, and what the motives behind it are. One thing I do understand, is that people put others down to feel better about themselves. The bullies themselves have insecurities of their own that they project on others to feel better about themselves.
I know this because in my grade 7 and 8 years I myself was bullied. Because of bullying, I was nearly forced into changing schools. I stayed home and cried for a whole week I can't put my finger exactly on what made me the victim, but I think it was because of vulnerability. I wasn't one to stick up for myself. I mostly did things  to please other people, I think I cared too much what other people thought of me. Most grade sevens have had similar experiences or are in the same boat. But to think that things will remain the same throughout high school is completely untrue. There may always be bullies, but in my opinion, by finding out who you are and sticking up for yourself will make a world of a difference. So for me, it got better.
Due to trying to figure out who we are, we tend to have many insecurities and lots of un-answered questions. That's why, as high school goes on and we are starting to figure out what we want to do, and the kind of person we are, we see less and less bullying.
There is nothing wrong with being different. I just wish that people would understand that things get better, that no matter how bad life may seem at times it is only a small chapter and we eventually get past it.
By realizing that we are all unique, having confidence in who we are, we are led to ultimately be the best person that we can be. This includes identifying our own personal goals and dreams and pursuing them.

Something to think about all you guy obsessed bloggers........

If you're single, I'd say focus on being a better YOU instead of looking for someone better then your ex. A better YOU will attract a better next.

What I have Faith in, what I believe

We don't all necessarily believe in God, or any other religious figures, but i do believe that each and every individual has faith in something. Whether it be love, or people, or some kind of spirit that guides us we all believe in something real. I personally have faith in nature and the energy of the universe. I've never really bought too much into religion but I have always believed in something I call "the energy." All living creatures give off energy, and the kind of energy we give off has huge impact on how we live and the events we put ourselves into in our lives.
I do indeed see some truth in that corny movie "The Secret", because everything created has some kind of rhythm. I think that if you project happiness and feel good, good things will happen to you. If you have faith in yourself and know that good things will happen to you, they will. It’s the positive energy that people project that seems to be what really exists in our world. And it deems itself the only thing that I feel is the only "hidden existing force" of our universe.
